I take a few months off to have a baby and we discover life on other planets!!
Ok, that's a bit of an exaggeration...but maybe there's a grain of truth in it? NASA has announced a press conference for today at 2pm EST "to discuss an astrobiology finding that will impact the search for evidence of extraterrestrial life. Astrobiology is the study of the origin, evolution, distribution and future of life in the universe."
So far, the most serious announcements about extraterrestrials tend to come from movie producers touting the box office figures for their latest alien invader blockbuster; I'm looking forward to hearing what NASA has to say.
For those who want to tune in, the conference will be streamed live at http://www.nasa.gov/ntv
That NASA announcement was much a do about nothing. We still look forward to proving any type of life form in other worlds. Hop you and your baby are enjoying each otehr. We are always interested in the latest DNA news.
